What is VILTKAM®?

VILTKAM is a cloud service that simplifies the management of images from e.g. a trail camera. The camera is set up to send pictures to your VILTKAM account via email, and they end up in your gallery. You can also choose to share your photos with friends through VILTKAM


What is required to use VILTKAM®?

If you own a trail camera / IP camera, it needs to support sending captured images via email.
If you want to access a shared camera on VILTKAM, you only need to register a free account.


Can you test VILTKAM for free?

Yes. All new users who register receive VILTKAM credits, which can be used to test our service.
When the credits run out, you choose whether you want to buy credits and top up the account. Accessing a shared camera on VILTKAM is completely free.


How do I set up a camera?

It's easy to get started with VILTKAM. If you have not already registered a free account, start by creating a new account: Register a new account
Then follow the instructions to add a new camera: Tutorial: Add a camera
(Requires camera to be configured with an e-mail receiver)


Can anyone access my photos?

No. You choose who will see your photos*. You choose if you want to share your camera and to whom.
(* We from VILTKAM may take part in the pictures for development and monitoring purposes. Mostly to check that no inappropriate images are uploaded)


Can I share my photos from the camera with an acquaintance?

Yes, you can share a camera on VILTKAM. All that is required is that the person you want to share the camera with has a registered account.


How many cameras can I add?

There is no limit to how many cameras you can add to VILTKAM.


Is it free to register an account?

Registering an account is completely free. Accessing a shared camera on VILTKAM is completely free.


Do I have to use VILTKAM®SIM to use the cloud service?

No. You can use any mobile subscription in your camera. The advantage of using VILTKAM®SIM is that the cloud service is included free of charge for cameras that use VILTKAM®SIM.


Do I have to use the cloud service if I buy a VILTKAM® Sim card?

No. The SIM cards work great in your trail camera without using the cloud service. The cloud service is optional to use and is included free of charge for VILTKAM® SIM users.


Which networks / operators support VILTKAM®SIM?

We support Tre, Tele2 and Telia in Sweden. In total throughout Europe, we support over 700 different networks.


Can you send MMS with VILTKAM®SIM?

No, the sim card does not support MMS. Only data traffic such as e-mail


What are the benefits of VILTKAM?

There are several benefits to using VILTKAM.

Example:

  • Taken photos will be easily accessible in our gallery from computer or mobile.
  • You do not have to fill your inbox with a lot of messages and pictures from the camera.
  • Easy to share the camera to friends or acquaintances through our website. No configuration in the camera is required for sharing.
  • VILTKAM can be used with most trail cameras on the market and is not locked to any particular brand.
